The prescription insert frame is designed to be compatible with our TriEye.You can replace the standard nosepad on your regular eyeglasses with a nosepad that has the insert frame attached. TriEye VIEW comes in two sizes, medium and small. The lens is a rather big panoramic lens which looks good on an average adult face, and to big on a small adult face. For that reason you can choose between the two sizes and there is a big overlap where both small and medium will fit well.

As a general role, medium size will fit all adult males with an average head/face size. Medium will also fit most females with an average head/face size but for most females small size is also an alternative.

If you have a head/face significantly smaller than average, small size is the safest choice. Note that the size of the lens also decide the angle between your eye and the mirror.

They Work!

I don’t ride without them now and I especially like the larger mirrors. They are much more useful than radar systems, which I no longer use. Highly recommended!

Bigger mirror

Terrific

Helpful rowing tool

So, I am still trying to get the most out of these glasses. My only criticism is that the left mirror regularly feels loose.

I feel much safer on the roads now!

I’ve been biking for many years and I was always nervous about vehicles approaching from behind me. Glancing back always left me feeling like there was that moment that I’d actually swerve into traffic a little at just the wrong moment. After using TriEye glasses for about 5 weeks, I can’t imagine biking without them. I find myself doing the slight head movement needed to glance behind me now feels so natural, I find myself wanting to see behind me even off the bike. I highly recommend TriEye and I’ve been telling everyone I know about how much they improve biking safety.

I love it, after you get used to it and get the setting of the mirror right , it makes our trips a whole lot safer. I recommend to every bike rider. Thumbs up!!

The frame is great, but i bought the wrong tint of sunglasses

Best yet!

I have tried pretty much every rear view mirror out there, this one is the least cumbersome, the most clear and once it’s set, it doesn’t move. I love for cycling! The Photochromic lenses perfect for high contrast days. And here’s a new use… to walk my elderly parent anywhere - I don’t have to swivel my head to check behind (can lead to a quick disaster) Anyway! Thank You great product!

Captain David

Our deck boat doesn’t have a convenient place to mount a mirror for when I’m pulling a tube or waterskier, so I thought I’d give these a try. I was worried they would be unstable at speed (up to 40. mph) but they worked great with the large bilateral mirrors. Now I’m able to check my tow and keep my eyes forward, making me a safer captain.

Larger mirrors definitely help with rowing visibility

I bought the View Sport Duo a couple years ago for rowing; with the original smaller mirrors, I could not get comfortable with sighting behind me - too much head movement was needed. With the larger mirrors, I'm much more comfortable seeing the needed details.

Note that TriEye posted a retrofit video for replacing the mirrors; this gave me confidence that removing the old mirrors wouldn't cause some damage.

Excellent product. Gives me a clear of what's behind me with a slight left turn of my head. The field of view is excellent. It's even better with the upgraded larger mirror for only $5. I used my TriEye for my 1st cycling event recently. Not only was it useful, but I received numerous compliments and inquiries about the product. I would encourage all bike riders to purchase this product.

Burkes Garden 2025

First day using the glasses, I had my doubts but within a quarter mile of a three mile climb they proved to be reliable and I was damn glad I had them on. For the group of five older riders they were a much wanted and needed safety tool.

Sincerely
JC

The only thing safer is riding a trainer

Won't ride without them. Used a clip on mirror for years. These are so much more stable and look much nicer.

Love them.

Now that I have TriEye glasses I feel much safer cycling on busy roads. It’s so much easier to be aware of what’s coming up behind you. No more turning your head and losing balance. I just wish they offered prescription lenses instead of just the additional frames.

Tri Eye

Good but not 100% safe. Took me a while to get position correct. Still need to angle head to look behind. But a great asset. Helps to make cycling safer around Memphis!! Not so good if you are switching from Aero on a tri bike, but much better than turning to look behind.

Dual Mirror Photochromatic for Cycling

Yes indeed, I bought the dual mirror version as I cycle in the UK and in Germany (though with hindsight - pun intentional - I could have got away with just the right-sided version as that is my better, and dominant, eye). I've used these for a year, mostly on a regular cycle commute of about 20km each way. Well, they took a little getting used to, but I like them a lot. They are NOT a substitute for the last-second lifesaver glance over your shoulder, but, because only a slight head-turn is required, I look behind me a good deal more often, so I get earlier warning of what's there, or reassurance that my companions are still in view. Once you have got the knack, and with careful adjustment (which is just about possible on the move) for your riding position, the field of view is adequate and the mirrors stay clear of raindrops or condensation. The photochromatic lens seems to work extremely well. I would echo others' comments about riding hunched on the drops: less useful in that position.

Great improvement over original mirror.

I love it. Can see more now. Easy to replace. Feels secure.

Change my rowing

Gives you the extra confidence to steer

The View Sport Dual Standard Mirror Glas is my second TriEye, this one is considered to be used in dark and winter condititions. I use it every time while rowing in uncoxed boats, stearing these boats from the bow seat on cloudy days or even at night. The straight on view through the mirror is excellent. Unfortunately the ball and socket joint of the left mirror is a little bit to weak. In consequence I have to adjust the left mirror from time to time. Those joints in my “summer TriEye” work much better.

Be patient

I have four bicycles, including a recumbent and a road bike with Aero bars. Each one puts me in a different position, so I need to adjust the mirror for the bike of the day. That said, I prefer the view in the TriEye mirror over the bar end mirrors on each bike. Patience is needed in retraining your head and eye movements so there is a clear, steady view behind you. Don't expect a 100% solution - for example, I have had trouble making it effective with rain gear and more bulky jackets. The glasses also tend to fog more easily in the colder weather, and when there is actual fog in the air. For most other conditions, including night and pre-dawn rides, the glasses are effective, and provide a better rear view.

Awesome!

TriEye is just what the doctor ordered. Simply put, I have my Garmin radar in the back. Linked to my computer up front, now the tryEye to add even more safety to my rides. Quick glance & I can easily see behind me. I'm about to get yet another pair with the bigger mirror, along with the prescription insert.. I love my trieye cycling glasses 🤓

Didn't fit the clip on product.

UV protection

I like the glasses in general, especially the mirror part. While your description does not specify it, I'd like to know the exact level of UV protection these glasses offer (View Sport Photochromatic - Cycling Glasses with Mirror).
