TriEye VIEW comes in two sizes, medium and small. The lens is a rather big panoramic lens which looks good on an average adult face, and to big on a small adult face. For that reason you can choose between the two sizes and there is a big overlap where both small and medium will fit well.

As a general role, medium size will fit all adult males with an average head/face size. Medium will also fit most females with an average head/face size but for most females small size is also an alternative.

If you have a head/face significantly smaller than average, small size is the safest choice. Note that the size of the lens also decide the angle between your eye and the mirror.

It may make you more alert to your riding

It’s an additional tool … The view finder is fairly small. It’ll take a ride or two to gauge adjusting it so you’re not looking at your facial/skull line, nor the other side of route. It will never surpass your own riding instincts of hearing or anticipating a vehicle, but if you do anticipate, it will allow you to look up and out slightly (less degree than your own glance back) to hopefully anticipate an oncoming hazardous driver from behind.

TriEye Are The Glasses I Wanted But Didn't Know Existed

I have been using a mirror on my glasses for eons, as a cyclist who rides 10,000+ miles a year, it is important for me to ensure visibility of my surroundings and be able to keep a defensive position on the bike. In addition to the mirror on my previous glasses, I also run mirrors on my bar ends and a radar system to detect things that I may not otherwise be able to see. A friend of mine pointed out these glasses to me. I wasn't in the market for new glasses at the time. However, last year with the mirror mounted to my glasses, the worst thing happened to me - I was hit on a trail with a blind driveway crossing and foliage covering it. All of the mirrors and radars in the world couldn't help me there. What was eye-opening, however, was that my clip-on mirror gouged a little bit into my head when I went down. I thought "good thing this didn't go into my eye". The glasses and mirror survived that incident, though my leg did not. I previously wore two different glasses - one with entirely clear lenses and ones which were photochromatic that didn't go fully clear, for pure daytime sunny rides. When I found that there was a photochromatic option for these, and they actually go to pure clear at night, I decided to give them a try. A week into using them, I had adapted to them so well that I had entirely forgotten that I changed my glasses. They fit so comfortably on my face, they are incredibly light, the clarity is amazing. They have worked so well in several Seattle-area riding conditions - sunny, rainy, day and night. People have asked me about them, and I enthusiastically recommended them. It's an absolute game-changer if you want the versatility and viewability of a mirror, without the liability of something dangling out in front of you. Moreover - and I can say this with pure confidence - with the photochromatic effect of these, I actually forget they are photochromatic. The reason I say this is because they are always at the right transparency level that I need given the conditions. If it is partly cloudy, they are less tinted. If it is very sunny, they are more tinted. In pitch darkness, they aren't tinted. They're always at the level I need to "see". The bonus is that they look absolutely great and are SO comfortable. I have the single-sided mirror, but knowing what I know now, I would have also enjoyed the dual-sided option as the mirror is not obtrusive at all. The lenses are huge. They are great at doing something that some of my other lenses have not - keeping bugs from flying straight into my eyeballs over the frame. I haven't had a bug go into my eye yet, and I've been using these daily for a few weeks. They're just perfect.

Great!

The overall quality and performance of these glasses is so far very very good. I’ve ridden at least three times with them and adjusted the mirror to where I know the best setting for it. I also use Garmin Varia radar and this with the try ads perfect layers of security, try is a great innovation in the sport. These glasses are comfortable. They inspire confidence and they look good. I have the photochromic lenses the first I’ve ever owned. I have another pair of glasses that I use when I don’t need the try particularly on gravel but for the road there’s really no other choice. I guess I’m wondering if I’m thinking that the lens can be changed out to a different lens, but I highly recommend the product and for the price you can’t really put a price on your life for example there are too many reports of people having issues on the road and so this is great. I even road with them in the dark of course with lights, but as it became more daylight and even in the dark when it was behind me, I could see that and that’s why I like the chromic lenses so I guess you highlights the reason why I bought the glasses but also why you might consider the purchase also too. I recommended them to a friend who still using a big mirror on his helmet , so maybe we can convert him thanks and maybe I can talk a few more people into a good choice

5 Stars for Rearview, 2 Stars for Sunglassiness...3.5 Stars

Took me a couple days wearing them around the house (inside and outside) to get used to how I think they'd work on the road, but I like them a lot! My only complaint is that they don't get real dark in the sun.
