I used the clip on rear view mirrors for years and would accidentally knock them off or break them all the time. Not so with these glasses. Also no jitter in the mirror when riding on bumpy roads
I received my TriEye glasses 2 weeks ago and they have completely changed my level of confidence on the road. The clarity on the mirror is amazing. It took me a couple of rides to find he right position of the mirror, but I’m loving them now. Highly recommend.
I ride with lots of traffic. Trieye helps me navigate safely and efficiently. I bought a pair for my brother-in-law who loves them!
I stumbled upon these glasses on Facebook. They looked interesting so purchased a pair. Boy did I make the right decision. I’ve never felt safer while out riding my bike. A quick glance in the mirror and you can see cars or other riders behind you. At 72 turning my head around is more difficult than when younger. These aren’t just for old folks like myself but anyone that wants to stay as safe as possible.
I bought polarized pair with left mirror. First time using wasn't too sure about them. It took about 2 weeks to adjust and learn how best to setup and get used to them. I hate riding without them now. I rode other day and forgot them for the ride. i was constantly trying to look n mirror that wasn't there. I bought a second pair because first pair got destroyed being ran over. This when i realized they are modular, so the lens survived and nose piece still intact. I just need to order new parts Highly recommend these.
I used the TriEye glasses during our Northcape tour in Scandinavia this month (07/2025) and my experience was mixed. In sunny summer weather, they worked perfectly—whether I was wearing a tight biking jersey or just a regular t-shirt. The rear-view mirror is clear, and visibility is excellent in calm conditions. 10 out it 10 points.
However, the glasses become nearly useless in wind or rain. When you’re wearing a rain jacket or windbreaker, you simply can’t see over your shoulder—the mirror reflects your shoulder or the jacket hood instead of what’s behind you. During bad weather, the glasses stayed in the bag the entire time.
In short, the TriEye glasses are a good fair-weather companion, but for anyone cycling in mixed or harsh conditions (especially common in Scandinavia), their practicality drops sharply.
Flexible and fits all my TriEye lenses via the included snap-in nose piece. My Ophthalmologist is making up bifocal lenses that will fit perfectly into these frame inserts. I’m so happy I’ll be able see my cycling computer once again while bike packing for weeks at a time.
I'm still striving to develop deliberate fine control of the angle of my head and I'm still not sure which aspect of the stroke is the best place to catch glances of the river ahead. At the catch? During the drive? During recovery? My head/mirror view changes angles a lot while rowing. It takes time to get the hang of it.
Very good glasses, very useful, extremely easy to wear, an excellent product. I use them on my bicycle and scooter. They perform very, very well — excellent!
The sunglasses are terrific and a huge improvement over attachable mirrors. My only problem is that, as someone who is far-sighted, I found it a little hard to focus on the mirror, even after extending the little arms that sit on your nose. This problem was improved somewhat by purchasing the prescription lens adaptor: the nose bridge is a little wider to accommodate the lenses so it moves the glasses and the mirror further away from my eye. If I were to recommend a design change, it would be to make the housing for the mirror longer, so the mirror is further from the eye.
The photochromic coating works great and the glasses almost never fog up.
As a spectacle wearer, I bought the clip-on mirror. It clips on well and stays in place while riding. It’s taken 2-3 rides to get used to it and get the mirror set properly but I am very happy with it. It is the perfect solution for me.

it took a couple of rides in order to get used to the new set of Trieye (Polarized), but after that - I will definitely not go back to mirror on a stick and other solutions. They simply work like described!
My new TriEye glasses have been a game changer for road riding! No longer do I have to constantly fret about what type of vehicle is approaching from behind. I now know when it is the right time to move as far to the road edge as possible for the big trucks.
I’m very impressed with my new TriEye road riding glasses. It only took a few minutes to get used to the mirror location. The glasses are very well made as well. Nice quality! I highly recommend TriEye road riding sunglasses to anyone who needs a rear view mirror. Love that they are polarized too!
Andrew Van Beek reviewed a pair on YT. For once, I bought the sport polarized version without looking at 100s of reviews. These glasses are High Quality, clear, fit very well, polarized, comfortable, and ultra-functional.
It’s taken me a few rides to get used to them. Absolutely brilliant, a real game changer. No more wobbling, when I try to look back. Really happy with my purchase
Just wore the TriEye glasses for the first time today. They are excellent! I have used a mirror that attached to my sunglass arm for years. These are much better. Easy to adjust and they don’t interfere with normal visability which could be a problem with my old mirror. Love them!
