I haven’t even been using a rearview mirror on my bike because all of the ones I’ve tried vibrate too much, fall off, or are otherwise unsuitable. TriEye is the perfect solution. For such a tiny mirror, the view you get behind you is amazingly big enough and crystal clear. While you won’t be able to describe the driver in the car behind you, you will be able to see if the car is moving over, or how close it is to you, or even IF there’s a car behind you, or where your companion riders are. I got these glasses for cycling, but I’m using them for jogging and hiking as well now. Even though I consider my area safe, you can never be too careful, and I jog on a multiuse trail–so it’s great to see if I have a biker or another jogger coming up behind me, without having to turn around. Plus I feel safer on the trail wearing my headphones listening to music now that I can keep an eye on what’s behind me. That’s actually a benefit I hadn’t thought of when I bought the glasses – the added security when I’m out alone.
I’m also an inline skater and my coach, who often skates outdoors on the road, is buying a pair. It’s downright dangerous to look behind you when you’re on inline skates on the road.
My only complaint is that the photochromic lenses don’t get anywhere close to as dark as the lenses in the photo above. I’ve been in very bright sun and they honestly don’t get that dark. For the price I paid, I expected more, but the positives of the mirror outweigh this one negative.
With the large size mirror you gave the confidence to ride safely
i was told i ordered the photo chromatic glasses with the large mirror but i ordered the other mirror and was told it was also the large. the new one they sent me was bigger and hands down the bigger and better mirror. for these glasses that would be my only comment that they all should come with the larger mirror. i have referred a few people to these trieye glasses/mirror.
I waited for weeks to purchase. Figured they were just another cheap gimmick. Much to my surprise and pleasure, these glasses are ride changing! I can't believe how well their made and how much safer I feel when out on the road. Worth every penny
Now thats the one, the whole idea is good anyway. But now with a slightly bigger size, much clearer view.
Glasses are a game changer. Some much easier to monitor what’s going on behind you! A must have.
First ride today using my new dual mirror photochromic glasses. I’m glad to say I’m completely satisfied with the functionality of the glasses and the ease of use of the mirrors. Highly recommend these and worth every penny. Delivery was also very swift.
Took a while to adjust and get used to using them but now…. Great!
Really nice to have mirrors on both sides and the prescription inserts. Polarized lenses are a must have option.
The glasses are excellent for cycling. The photochromatic lens is especially good as light conditions change. They are comfortable. The only negative, and it's significant, is that the mirror is too small and requires a distracting tilt of the head to see behind.
I use the 2 mirror ones for rowing. They definitely give me more confidence and I don't have to turn my head as much to see behind me. Took a few rows to get used to them. But I wouldn't row without them now.
Bra kvalitet. Spegeln stabil
Awesome shades! The bigger mirror makes a huge difference! I'm getting another one to put in my other pair of Tri-Eyes! Thanks for your innovation and keeping us safe out there!
I purchased the original TriEye glasses about 6 years ago and although they worked quite well, I recently knocked the mirror compartment off when swatting at annoying flies buzzing around me. Although I was able to fit the compartment back in place, I decided it was time to get a new pair. I was concerned that the mirror on the current models had been downsized from a larger more vertical rectangular shape to a somewhat narrower horizontal shape. I was pleasantly surprised that the newer model mirror (View Sport Revo Max) worked just fine.
I bought two pairs with the original mirror size, liked them but really wanted more rear visibility. Went to a larger eyeglass mounted mirror on my regular sport glasses. Liked the visibility until it fell off in a group ride after two weeks. Big hassle to use too.
Took a chance and bought two of the new larger mirrors. These are the game changers.
I have the same great rear visibility as an eyeglass mirror with far more security and a lower profile.
Tremendous improvement.
I don’t ride without them now and I especially like the larger mirrors. They are much more useful than radar systems, which I no longer use. Highly recommended!
They are so light you don’t know you have the glasses on very intuitive to have the mirror on the glasses
So, I am still trying to get the most out of these glasses. My only criticism is that the left mirror regularly feels loose.
I’ve been biking for many years and I was always nervous about vehicles approaching from behind me. Glancing back always left me feeling like there was that moment that I’d actually swerve into traffic a little at just the wrong moment. After using TriEye glasses for about 5 weeks, I can’t imagine biking without them. I find myself doing the slight head movement needed to glance behind me now feels so natural, I find myself wanting to see behind me even off the bike. I highly recommend TriEye and I’ve been telling everyone I know about how much they improve biking safety.
I love it, after you get used to it and get the setting of the mirror right , it makes our trips a whole lot safer. I recommend to every bike rider. Thumbs up!!
