I highly recommend these glasses. I've been riding with an out-front mirror attached to my riding glasses or helmet for over 2 years. These TriEye glasses are far superior in every way. They are so much clearer and I don't accidentally knock them out of alignment, which I did regularly to my other mirror attachment. Well worth the price for this safety attachment.
Tri Eye glasses should be mandatory for every cyclist… having the ability to see behind you gives you great confidence and much needed protection! Tri Eye Keeping Cyclist Safe!!
Love these glasses. Just purchased a pair for my son.
Where have these been all of my cycling life? The small mirror works great. I actually did research on these glasses on the same day I almost got hit from behind as I attempted to make a left hand turn on a country road near where i live. They fit great and i got used to them quickly.
As other reviews stated, takes a few rides, but once used to them and getting the adjustment point set, I would recommend them. In fact I am getting a pair for my daughter who is just getting back into cycling.
Well made , frest fit Rear mirror is really small and sight is limited
A total game changer. Don't know why it took so long. If ordering order one size smaller than you normally do. You definitely should get a pair they're the best
i now have 2 pairs of these glasses which i mainly use in my single scull or steering a quad, not yet used them on my bike , it took about 5 sessions to get my eyes focused & how adjust & use them by glancing in the mirrors with a slight head movement only, now i’m used to them i wouldn’t go out in my scull or on the bike without them , amazing glasses
I love that I don’t have that nerdy mirror taped to my helmet with electrical tape for sure. I have only ridden with these once so far and I can see that it might take a couple of more rides to really settle in with them. But glad I purchased them. The optics in the glasses themselves are good.
I love these!!! It takes a few rides to adjust yourself and mirror adjustments. But well worth it. I wanted to keep my handle bar free from clutter, including a mirror. I will be purchasing another pair, for night riding!!!
Although it’s not easy to use the mirrors during activity I appreciate my TriEye equipment while cycling and rowing. The challenge is 1. to adjust the mirrors for the specific activity and 2. to focus quickly your eyes on the narrow mirrors sector and the content of interest. Rowing, you have only a second or two to detect and assess obstacle in your way (was the black spot a duck or a swimmer?) and the next opportunity for a quick glimpse comes only several meters later. Also cycling in the towns busy traffic allows only very short glimpses. You have to train intensively your moves (when and where your head and eyes adjust), so you have your dangerously obstacles first time right in sight! But it’s worth, using it!
My particular mirrors showed after two years plus ugly internal spots and had to be replaced. It seemed to be a production issue. I wrote directly an email at the manufacturer and was quick and friendly served. The two mirrors were replaced instantly without charge.
Very well designed. Lens are great and the mirror is very effective. It does take time to adjust and get use to.
View Sport Photochromic - Cycling Glasses with Mirror
This is my second pair of trieye glasses. I just wish they would darken a bit faster when I’m out in the sun and get slightly darker overall. I switched to the larger mirror option, and it’s definitely a big improvement over the standard one that comes with the glasses. I wear them all the time while riding my bike, and overall, I’m very happy with them.
My TriEye glasses paired with my radar light is as good as it gets! When that radar goes off or I hear tires I just tilt my head a little and I know what is coming and assess the risk of that vehicle. Also when I go on a gravel ride with the wife, all I have to do is tilt back and look for her headlight to know she’s all good! I have the red lenses and transition. Couldn’t recommend them more!
Have both photochromic and blue rowing lens. Work great after weeks of several uses Are much better than lens attaching eyeglasses, which I have done for years or even using a waterski mirror.
Getting use to it takes time, mostly because very little head movement is needed. Helmet straps get in the way but that's part of perfecting the movement. Thinking about buying a clear pair for night rides.
These are great for bike riding. The mirror is easy to adjust and allows you to see behind you for passing vehicles and to confirm your riding partners are nearby.
The photo chromatic lenses are perfect. They do not get too dark such that you can still see the hazards in the road.
Excellent glasses. Bought one of these for my wife and she's absolutely loving it
Really cool, have to adjustment have to ne made frequently when riding..
Great for a extra larger view, easy to switch out, glad I purchased it, I highly recommend this larger rear view mirror
The TriEye glasses increase riding safety. The new larger mirror give a much better rear view. The ability to check traffic coming from behind gives me more confidence when riding in high traffic conditions.
Best goggles for cycling...
-After getting used to the increased situational awareness of what's going on behind my back without turning my head much I can never go back to a regular pair.
-The only mirror setup that doesn't look uncool
