Aren’t mirrors in the lens distracting?

They sit in the lower outer corners of the lens, out of your line of sight until you glance at them, the same way a car’s side mirrors work. Most rowers say they stopped noticing them during their very first row.

What happens if they end up in the water?

Both kits include the TriEye float retainer. It keeps the glasses on the surface, so a splash or a missed grab doesn’t mean a trip to the bottom.

Do they work with prescription glasses?

The View doesn’t fit over regular glasses, but TriEye makes a prescription lens insert that sits behind the lens. Contact lenses work perfectly too.

How dark does the Photochromic 0–3 lens get?

The 0–3 lens in the Performance Rowing Kit is our Full Spectrum lens: in lab testing it measures across categories 0–4, and in real-world conditions it reaches a solid category 3, going from clear to a full sunglasses tint on its own. The photochromic layer is a wafer laminated inside the lens rather than a surface coating, so it tints evenly, reacts faster and doesn’t wear off the way a coating can.
