Change a lens

The Classic ships with two lenses: the installed mirror lens and a spare without the mirror module. Swapping between them takes about a minute.

What's in your case

  • The Classic glasses with mirror lens installed
  • A spare lens of the same shape, no mirror module
  • The hard case
  • Microfiber pouch for the lens not in use
  • Microfiber cloth

The two lenses fit the same frame. Whichever you swap in becomes your everyday view.

The swap

  1. Lay the glasses face-up on a flat surface.
  2. Hold the frame at the temple (where the arm folds). With your other hand gently push the lens out from the back, starting at the lower-outer corner.
  3. The lens releases with a soft click. The mirror module travels with the lens it's attached to — that's by design.
  4. Pick up the replacement lens and align it with the frame's groove, mirror corner first if it has one.
  5. Press the lens into place from front to back. You'll feel a click when it seats correctly. The frame should hold the lens flush — no gaps along the edges.

Store the lens you removed in the microfiber pouch.

Mirror vs no-mirror

The mirror lens gives you the rear-view glance. The no-mirror lens makes the Classic indistinguishable from regular sunglasses — useful for situations where you don't want a mirror visible (a meeting, a wedding, a flight where you'll sleep). Same UV400 protection, same lens shape, same color tint. Only the mirror module is different.

When to swap

Most Classic owners settle on one lens for daily use and keep the other in the case as a contingency. A few rotate based on context (mirror for the commute, no-mirror for the office). There's no wear penalty — both lenses are designed for unlimited swaps.
