A total game changer. I had seen this product advertised but I delayed in getting a pair. When vehicles started sneaking up on me it was time to invest in a pair for my safety. I can now see vehicles in a distance, judge how far they are and adjust my ride accordingly, no more surprises, no more being startled. I am no longer listening for tires as vehicles approach. I see them long before I hear them. Truly a game changer. If you are riding without them I encourage you to get a pair and save yourself a world of hurt.
The full spectrum glasses are fantastic. They are well made and the clarity is great. They are very comfortable and easy to setup. It only took a couple of rides to dial the mirror in. It is amazing how the lens when they change from light to dark are so much brighter than my previous pair of photochromatic lens . Highly recommend these glasses.
I ordered two pair of the polarized glasses, one for myself, the other for my sister. We both think the glasses are very good; my sister, however, requires prescription glasses, (something I'd forgotten during the first order) so I ordered these inserts for her. I've not spoken with her since she ordered the lenses from her optometrist, but as pleased as she was with the sunglasses themselves, I'm sure the inserts will work well for her.
This is my second pair. Lost the first. And the week and a half I was without, I realized what a difference they make!!
So much safer!! Like others, it took 1-2 rides to get dialed in again, but now I hardly move my head, just a little tilt and I can see everything behind me.
Thanks, Tri-Eye!
They make riding my bike so much safer! Thank you
There is an adjustment period getting used to looking back in the little mirror. When accidently damaged my lens and had to ride without them I realized how hooked I was. I couldn't wait to get them back on. I ordered a new lens which was very easy. I like them so much I ordered a frame set with double lenses for rowing. Ride/row on!
I highly recommend these glasses. I've been riding with an out-front mirror attached to my riding glasses or helmet for over 2 years. These TriEye glasses are far superior in every way. They are so much clearer and I don't accidentally knock them out of alignment, which I did regularly to my other mirror attachment. Well worth the price for this safety attachment.
Tri Eye glasses should be mandatory for every cyclist… having the ability to see behind you gives you great confidence and much needed protection! Tri Eye Keeping Cyclist Safe!!
Love these glasses. Just purchased a pair for my son.
Where have these been all of my cycling life? The small mirror works great. I actually did research on these glasses on the same day I almost got hit from behind as I attempted to make a left hand turn on a country road near where i live. They fit great and i got used to them quickly.
As other reviews stated, takes a few rides, but once used to them and getting the adjustment point set, I would recommend them. In fact I am getting a pair for my daughter who is just getting back into cycling.
Just ordered my 6 th pair of trieye! I ride 10,000 miles per year! All conditions! Photo chromatic really helpful for 24 hr races / time trials that you have to transition from day to night to day! Amazed that anyone would not want to be able to see behind for traffic openings to turn etc. ! I use one stick on magnifier lense 2x on left eye so I can read etc.
First, let me say how much I love these glasses. More full face without blocking visibility with a lower frame. There is no lower frame. Great design. It does take getting used to i.e. turning your head slightly. But I do not ride without some kind of rear-view mirror, and these are so convenient. The best part is how this small family run company does business. I clumsily managed to break the left ear rest. I had already had the glasses a couple of months and never read anything about any kind of warranty for breakage. But I reached out and began dialogue with Camilla to see if they could offer any help. I bought the $169.00 pair. She was so kind and ended up sending me a new frame at no charge. They certainly didn't have to do that. But this kind of customer service goes a long way. And I can't say how much I appreciate it. And how much I endorse this company.
A total game changer. Don't know why it took so long. If ordering order one size smaller than you normally do. You definitely should get a pair they're the best
i now have 2 pairs of these glasses which i mainly use in my single scull or steering a quad, not yet used them on my bike , it took about 5 sessions to get my eyes focused & how adjust & use them by glancing in the mirrors with a slight head movement only, now i’m used to them i wouldn’t go out in my scull or on the bike without them , amazing glasses
