The larger replacement mirror is a great addition to an already great product. Definitely makes a difference! Now that the larger mirror version is available, not sure why you'd ever go back to the smaller one.

Such a great addition to my cycling kit! After a few minutes to get the angle right, using the side mirror became second nature by my second ride. Situational awareness is much easier now and, when combined with a radar flasher, I feel so much safer on my rides. Looking forward to getting the prescription lens insert soon, too.
I have purchased two pairs off glasses, one double one single, to use whilst rowing my single racing scull on a very busy Noosa river. These glasses are fantastic, I particularly like the lense with the vent at the top ( only comes with the double mirror) this stops clouding the view in our very humid tropical conditions. I can now see over the bow ball and I feel much safer. I would like to try a larger mirror than the one now offered. They may be available in Europe. Also, it may be an idea to mount the mirror higher up the side of the glasses. This would allow a continuous view without moving the user head up and down. I highly recommend this product. Being able to see what is coming up on you as you ride your bike is very helpful. The glasses are providing me the ability to clearly see what is coming as I ride. The sunglasses are also very good as sunglasses… and they look just as good as any biking glasses. I feel like I’m benefiting twice with the glasses.

it takes some getting used to but works great.
Got used to using them within an hour of riding. I will upgrade to the larger mirror although the stand one is quite adequate. Just one niggling thing - the width of the arm just at the inside of MY ear is somewhat irritating. Would be nice to have that portion thinner and malleable. These glasses paired with the Garmin Viara rear-facing radar will dramatically improved your survivability.
Because the mirror does not protrude much, if any, beyond a bicycle rider's head, a rider must turn their head to see the road behind. This means that the mirror does not provide the kind of constant situational awareness that I would like, or that a bike mounted mirror could provide. This means that the mirror is only of marginal utility. The light-sensitive, darkening lenses work well, however.

You are right that TriEye requires a slight head turn of around 10-15 degrees to use the mirror - similar to glancing at a car side mirror. Most riders find that after just a few rides, this becomes completely natural and automatic.
If you are finding the field of view too small, it might be worth trying our Large mirror, which fits directly onto your existing cycling glasses and gives a noticeably wider view. Many of our customers actually prefer it for exactly this reason!
The big advantage of TriEye over a handlebar mirror is that it goes everywhere with you - on every bike, running, rowing, walking - without any setup. It also keeps your eyes much closer to the road ahead compared to looking down at a handlebar mirror, which many riders find significantly safer.

I replaced the mirror in my glasses with the larger version. The mirror itself gets five stars because it really does make a difference in how much you can see behind you and more to the edge. It does, however, have a hard time fitting in the case with the larger mirror. I'm willing to live with that.
I have used these for my walks. I bought them because I almost got hit by an electric scooter while walking on the sidewalk. It is real nice to be able to see what’s coming behind me. I adjusted to the mirror very quickly. Great product.
It is hard to get an angle where I see behind without staring at my shoulder — I have to contort myself to see. It’s not that fictional

1. Put on your glasses and turn your head just 10-15 degrees to the side of the mirror
2. Adjust the mirror with your fingers until you can see a sliver of your cheek and the top of your shoulder
3. Go for a gentle ride and fine-tune as you go - most riders find their sweet spot within 2-3 rides

I just came back from my first ride with Tri-Eye. Given that it will take a few rides to get to used to it, I will still give first impressions. First of all my wife and I ride as enthusiasts, Bike touring and fitness and we have been using mirrors for years. We would not leave on a ride without one. We have been using the Bike Peddler 'Take a Look' mirror that clips on the arm of your glasses. The purist cyclist look at you at a coffee shop like you are a nerd and I've heard many of them say stupid things like ' I just KNOW when a vehicle is approaching" or " it shaves too many watts off my power" ,etc. etc. The same cyclists are naieve about many motorists as they don't know how fast a car is approaching, how close they with brush you by, it there are mulitple vehicles, or if they are going to pass close to you on a hill pushing you over if there is no shoulder. Mirrors should be mandatory for cyclists in some form or the other in all developed nations as far as I am concerned.
There, now that you know how I feel, I'll move on to the review. We sought out a new mirror as our mirrors are scratched from about 10 years of use. Up came Tri-Eye on the search engine. It looked novel and got great reviews . A few factors were involved in the purchase. I needed a new prescription and I was limited in cycling glasses because of the strength of them. My old glasses were actually just a safety glass frame with darkening lenses. The cost of buying a new larger frame for wind and other was going to run about $700-800 CDN. Plus the cost of the arm mirror another $40. So the Tri-Eye came in as a bargain. For $287.00 plus tax which included the prescription lens insert and with photochromatic darkening. Lenses at the local Costco just ran about $150. So all in it was under $500 with taxes. For which we are a leader in in Canada:(:(
So here are some categories and observations
Packaging and Case- Good sturdy case and pouch included
Style- They look great, and well done with the Norwegian logo on it.
Comfort- They never slipped at all, I adjusted the nose piece once and left it. They are light and hardly feel them on my face. My old glasses I had to have a strap to keep them in place
Wind- Great at stopping watery eyes and wind. It was 45 km gusts today and I felt nothing in my eyes.
Sunlight- It was an overcast day, so I am not sure about the darkening on a sunny day yet, but today was great
Mirror- The field of view for this going from the other mirror we used, is a about half as much. If you have never used a clip on mirror before you will have not idea and these will be a game changer for you. However the mirror is so much closer to your face than the clip on kind, its' hard to get your cheek out of the view or your jacket ( if it is floppy in the wind) I stopped about 8 times to play with the mirror and the adjustments are so miniscule but they make a big difference. I'm concerned about putting them in teh case and it moving so slightly before the next ride. I recommend you take an hour for an 'adjustment ' ride before trekking off and another time and stopping to play with it .
Overall a great product.good value, and I am happy to see so many getting mirrors!
I will keep them and gradually get used to them the field of view, but I am sure they will never measure up to a clip on that I have been used to.
The other advantages and costs win the day.

The only reason I don't rate the product with five stars is I hope they can design a rear view mirror that locks into position once I set it for the right viewing.
