Confident Riding

The TriEye glasses increase riding safety. The new larger mirror give a much better rear view. The ability to check traffic coming from behind gives me more confidence when riding in high traffic conditions.

Best goggle purchase I ever made

Best goggles for cycling...
-After getting used to the increased situational awareness of what's going on behind my back without turning my head much I can never go back to a regular pair.
-The only mirror setup that doesn't look uncool

Superpower :-)

The mirror comes with a learning curve but after the first ride I already removed the side mirror from the bike and after the third ride it feels like I have a new superpower. That the world behind becomes visible via a slight turn of the head, that moving the view up-down and left-right is possible without affecting the ride, and that rough terrain doesn't affect my mirror anymore each make my TriEye far superior to the old bike mirror. Highly recommend.

Very nice sunglasses

Very nice sunglasses. I've not tried them while cycling yet (got COVID around the time I ordered the glasses and have not been able to ride since), but trying them out the view through the polarized lenses is nice and clear and the mirror provides a good view behind me. I also ordered the replacement mirror, which, due to its larger size, provides a larger view area behind me.

Fantastic glasses, have been using for about two

Fantastic glasses, have been using for about two months now and they have made cycling so much safer, almost as a bonus the lenses and frames are worth the money alone, can absolutely recommend

Solid performance

I’m 76 years old, mostly riding on small country roads near home in New England, USA. I bought these in preparation for a week long ride across Slovenia. As forewarned, it took an hour or two for me to figure out how to use them. Once I learned how to slightly **** my head to maximize their attributes, they performed as advertised. I especially like the way the mirror is protected from raindrops by the lens. I would favor a slightly larger mirror dimension, but all in all… well designed, comfortable, solid performance.

Very helpful

I already have the polarized version with two mirrors for rowing, which are also very good for cycling. Very often also during cycling there is the need to look backwards on both sides. I also have the adaptor for ground lenses, which works well. Now I ordered the photochromatic version, so that I can use these helpful glasses also in darker situations. However, as a standing and supporting customer I‘m very disappointed, that only a few days after the order a new version of the photochromatic glasses with better protection is available, without letting me now. This is not a fair way hoe to treat loyal customers. I feel exploited.

I wish you had it in the different color. I like the big mirrors they work better.

Great glasses

The rear view capability make these glasses shine. The arm hinge design seems weak in design. Use hard case when not wearing.

I love my trieye

I love my trieye. What a good choice. I cannot ride my bike without it. I feel super safe.

Wish I had these years ago

I am glad I stumbled across these glasses. I used various types of mirrors (and glasses) in the past, but these really do the trick. It took a little time to get used to but once I did, I couldn't go back. And now with the larger mirror it is even better

Larger Mirror Works for Me

I had relegated my standard TriEye's to the reserve bin. Someone suggested I try the laeger mirror. For me, a big improvement over the smaller stock mirror. Not quite the easy visibility of an external eyewear mirror but pretty darn good, especially for those that don't normally ride with a mirror. Reconfirming that the photochromics lens are simply great.

Great riding sunglasses

I love my Tryeye sunglasses I bought the dual mirror so that I can see on the left or the right. If you get one mirror will work fine cause you will be able to see both lanes of traffic.

Great larger mirror

This larger mirror gives a greater field of view when riding. I am very happy with this larger mirror. Thanks Trieye!

Awesome lens for low light / cloudy days

I am very happy with this lens since it gives greater visibility in low light conditions. I would definitely recommend this lens to any cyclist and it automatically darkens for those days that are full sun.

Great glasses

I bought these glasses for my wife and she is getting used to them, she says that looking through them takes your eyes off the road but the more she uses them the more she likes them. I wish there was a trieye attachment for a shield as I use a helmet with magnetic shields that I change depending on the condition of the light.

I liked the way how quickly my order got delivered. The mirror is large and makes my riding process much safer.

About the head tilt

I wanted to add something about the head and eye movement you need to make to be able to see in the glasses’ rearview mirror. If you are cycling or running or skating, there are times when you will need to see what’s behind you. You can either compromise your entire body position and forward view and turn to look, or you can tilt your head slightly. The mirror is on a ball mount, so you have complete freedom to adjust it exactly where you want it. It only took me one ride to figure out where I liked it. But at first I found that when I had the mirror where I liked it, I was looking in it frequently, because I could. Not a great idea if you’re prone to eye strain. Just look into it when you need to.

I adjust the mirror differently for jogging. For jogging, I prefer to look straight left. For cycling, I prefer a slight downward left head tilt. You can minimize the head tilt by adjusting the mirror in, if you don’t mind seeing half of your head in the mirror’s view. But frankly, the movement you need to make with your head and eyes can be minimal. It didn’t take me long to get accustomed to it. You move your head and eyes more when you’re driving, looking in your car’s rearview mirror.

I second what one of the other reviewers said. If you have long hair, tie it back or you’ll be looking at nothing but your hair in the mirror.

Worked great on the very first ride. I highly recommend this product!

the large and medium mirror

i was told i ordered the photo chromatic glasses with the large mirror but i ordered the other mirror and was told it was also the large. the new one they sent me was bigger and hands down the bigger and better mirror. for these glasses that would be my only comment that they all should come with the larger mirror. i have referred a few people to these trieye glasses/mirror.

Good but could be better

These take some getting used to. As normal cycle glasses the work well. The mirror being so small is very difficult to get in the right position to be able to use it without getting frustrated. There is a balance between head position ,up down, in out and mirror position up down in out. Hence with so many variables it is hard to use. Additionally the nose piece is not adjustable so the glasses can slip down and hence start all over again. Improvements would be a larger mirror and adjustable nose pieces (or additional ones to keep the glasses in place). I bought 3 pairs, my wife is ok with hers as they fit better. I think more adjustments are needed and some sort of lock in position on the mirror (it moves when in case or bag if knocked).

No Gimmick Here

I waited for weeks to purchase. Figured they were just another cheap gimmick. Much to my surprise and pleasure, these glasses are ride changing! I can't believe how well their made and how much safer I feel when out on the road. Worth every penny

Now thats the one, the whole idea is good anyway. But now with a slightly bigger size, much clearer view.
