Tri eye is the best

I have been using Trieye and the vision and awareness of bikes and people behind me is far superior than having a mirror on the bike

My favorite bike mirrors

I have had a bike for ten years or so, and I never bothered to get a bike mirror. Recently, in a new location, I was gifted with an E-bike. Whoa! I figured I should be responsible, so I determined I needed a mirror (or mirrors) for the bike. I tried a mirror attached to my handlebars, but it was unsatisfactory. The distortion of distance and size of objects behind me rendered it useless. I tried a humble mirror, the TAKE A LOOK CYCLING MIRROR, a long wire with a mirror at one end, and the other end attached to my sunglasses. I got two, one for each side. Aside from how dorky these mirrors looked, they actually worked great once I got use to them. However, I found them awkward somehow. When I saw the TriEyes solution on YouTube, it immediately caught my eye. (I got one with mirrors on left and right shades. It seems to me silly to have a mirror on only one side. Hazardous traffis and impediments can come from any side.) The dorky TAKE A LOOK mirrors undorked, nice shades with mirrors hidden (mostly) discretely behind the dark lenses. It takes a similar brief awkward "getting used to it" period of a few days, as the TAKE A LOOK mirrors, and once one learns how to position them, they work GREAT! I wear glasses, and I wasn't sure these would fit. I see there are clip-on TriEye shades available, but with the mirror on only one side. I want mirrors on both sides, so I took a chance and bought the regular shades. They work find, fitting well over my seeing glasses. (However, if a clip-on version with mirrors on BOTH sides were produced, I would probably get one of those, as well.)

In short, i love this solution to biking safety. I love my TriEyes!

Camilla the glasses are fantastic but I’m a fair weather cyclist and I live in Manchester in the United Kingdom and it’s cold raining at the moment so when we get a bit of sunshine I will be ready for it and I will get back to you 😂

The perfect solution!

These are excellent! After looking over my shoulder during decades of riding and racing to spot other rides and/or traffic, I have found that these glasses offer great solutions for visibility and eye protection. Love ‘em!

I gave the glasses an accidental crush test!

I accidentally stepped on my glasses! I weigh 236lbs! I did not destroy them. I did crack my mirror and I bent the glasses a little. I was impressed so I purchased a new pair. I ALSO ORDERED EYE GLASS RETAINERS, and 2 spare lg mirrors. I love the glasses! The small mirror they put on them is inadequate, I think. Order 2 or 3 extra mirrors. They come off good and go back easily for replacement. Great product!

My Trieye view sport glasses

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I truly enjoy my TriEye cycling glasses. The built‑in rear‑view mirror has completely transformed my rides, giving me a level of awareness and confidence I’ve never had with any other eyewear. It’s such a simple idea, yet brilliantly executed — the mirror is clear, intuitive to use, and never distracting. Your glasses have become an essential part of my gear, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness and innovation behind them. Thank you for creating a product that genuinely makes cycling safer and more enjoyable.

Brilliant

I row a single skull on the busy Brisbane river and these glasses help me see the multiple obstacles behind me. Fantastic idea, and they were a birthday present from my wife. Thanks.

A game changer

Takes awhile to adjust how to use them but I've found them great. Less headturning and destablishing the boat. I can see the bank and turns of the river quite clearly and what is behind me. Several from our club tried them on and are now going to order their own

I LOVE THESE GLASSES!

I just started using the Tri-Eye View Sport Revo Max and after a few rides, I LOVE them. As the training video suggests, it takes a couple rides to get used to them, but with a slight turn of the head, I can see any easily traffic behind me.

One other initial comment/question: I ride almost daily and spend 30-40% of my time riding on steep hills. My head position is the same on flat and downhill rides, but it is slightly further forward on climbs. I was wondering if Tri-Eye or mountain bike/ road bike climbers have any suggestions? Obviously, going on steep uphill climbs also inhibits the turning of the head in the same way as a flat or downhill ride. It might just be that I need to get used to it or try to keep my head in the same position at all times.

Again, I LOVE the Tri-Eyes and would highly recommend them!

Excellent product

The mirror has made a huge difference for me as my regular gravel bike route on Waiheke Island just off the coast of Auckland, NZ, is on a hilly, narrow no-shoulder road for most of it. It’s not highly trafficked but the vehicles tend to go fast and it’s great being able to see what’s coming up behind me. I feel a lot more confident on the ride. Really good product and think it would be great for city commuters.

I think the mirror should be larger. It does not allow me to get an adequate view.

Hi Ross.

You can now purchase a larger mirror at our website.

A Better Mirror

I’ve been riding with a mirror since forever and would not ride without one. But they can be frustrating when they get bumped, trying to get them back to their original set up. Unlike those I’ve used, mounted on a rod attached to my helmet, the TriEye mirror is protected in its own little housing and never gets out of whack. There is an adjustment as the mirror is smaller but as I tell fellow riders, the purpose is to see “car” or “no car” and not to read license plates. These are perfect for that and I just bounty a second pair so as to never be without. Good product!

Having used helmet mounted mirrors and tried

Having used helmet mounted mirrors and tried handle bar mirrors this is the best option. Easy to use, great rear view, no vibrations or fogging. Brought some for my wife to use

Great design for safety

I am really enjoying the glasses, and the prescription insert works well. I already have Garmin Varia radar, but this added ability to see what is behind me gives me great comfort. The sunglass tint is a bit darker than I'd like for flat light but still worth it.
