The Classic brings TriEye's integrated rearview mirror to a lifestyle frame — the same safety tech as our sport eyewear, in glasses you'd actually wear to a café. A quick glance gives you full awareness of cars, cyclists, or pedestrians behind you while commuting, walking, driving, or out on the town.
The idea began with a near-miss: founder Carsten Juell Fongen was cycling in the Norwegian mountains when his son rode into him from behind. The mirror is integrated discreetly into the lens — visible only when you glance at it, invisible to everyone else.

Choose your lens. Five options — High Contrast Smoke, Reflective Blue, Reflective Rosé, Polarized Brown, and Polarized Photochromic Brown (1–3) for changing light.
The specs. UV400 protection. Lightweight, flexible TR90 frame. Mirror integrated into the left or right lens. One frame size (140). Four colors: Blush Pink, Powder Blue, Matte Charcoal, Matte Umber.
Will people see the mirror? No — it's set into the corner of the lens, visible only to you when you glance at it.
Is this the same mirror as the sport models? Yes — the same TriEye rearview technology, built into a fashion frame.
Which side is the mirror on? Your choice — left or right lens.
Frame colors and matched lenses:
All lenses feature UV400 protection. Polarized variants are ideal for driving, outdoor markets, and bright-day use.
Will they fit my face? One size, designed for most adult faces. The fashion silhouette is medium-width with rubber temple grip — secure on narrow faces, comfortable on wider ones.
Can I get them with prescription lenses? The Classic ships with the integrated mirror lens — not Rx-compatible directly. If you wear prescription glasses, The Clip adds the same mirror to any pair without changing your lenses.
Which mirror side should I pick — left or right? The Classic comes with a single mirror on either the wearer's left or right temple. Pick the side closest to overtaking traffic — left for right-hand-traffic countries (most of Europe, North America), right for left-hand-traffic countries (UK, Australia, Japan). The Classic doesn't offer a dual-mirror option — for that, look at The View.
Should I pick The Classic or The View? The Classic is for everyday wear, casual riding, and driving — it looks like normal sunglasses. The View is built for sport with full wrap-around coverage, dual-mirror options, and more lens choices.

These are the game changer in cycling safety. Absolutely brilliant!! Lightweight, the mirror is perfectly positioned and the photocromic tint of the lenses is very good. Every cyclist should own a pair of these. I will not ride without them.
The classic is a perfect addition to my cycling gear. I've tried numerous mirrors, including on my helmet and handlebar. The TriEye Classic is the solution for which I have been searching.
I decided to try the Tri-Eye Black Classic Cycling glasses after using my View Sport Revo Max glasses almost daily for about a year.
I love them both! I spend time riding in the Hill Country around Austin with the Revo Max's and I find they are better for long rides and on hills. I also spend part of the year in Northern Indiana / Southwest Michigan where it is much flatter, and my rides are shorter and the Classic Cycling glasses are perfect for there.
In both cases, the mirror technology is incredible. I have recommended them to riding friends and everyone agrees that the crispness of the rear-view mirror cannot be beat.
On the occasions where I don't have my Tri-Eyes with me, it is very difficult to not be worried about what's behind me which is the main reason I bought the second pair.

Nice surprise and little dissapoinment. The product is fine. Well designed, stylish and practical. Pretty much as I expected. In the box I found nice surprise - replaceable specatcle lens. So one can change the one with the mirror and have "regular" spectacles. But the little instruction how to do it is illegible. I am afraid to brake the lens - I think short utube how to do it would help...

They fits, they are solid and the rearmirror positions stays put.
3 - 7 days and you are familar with the rearmirror. But remember when driving not to relie 100 % on the rearmirror, there are blind spots.

My husband and I are road cyclists and got TriEye for Father's Day. We absolutely love them! Totally brings a level of safety to seeing what's coming up from behind us!

Nice classic, comfortable styling
Had to get used to it just because the mirror is small and the I needed to tilt my head to get a perfect rearview. However, I do not see any other way this could be bettered. After riding a mile, the muscle memory of where to look sets in and this accessory becomes indispensable. Love it for its inconspicuousness for the added extra glass to swap out the mirror and use the glasses as normal sunglasses. Very well designed and I do not look like a Borg. A bit pricy but still indispensable for urban biking especially.
Once you adjust the mirror, the glasses are great. Helps to keep me safe on the bike.

I feel safer on the road with trieye
I’ve loved riding with my Tri-eye classics. After a year of using the original riding glasses I hate riding without a tri-eye mirror. Being able to have a more toned down look for rides around town has been awesome. They work great and switching from mirrored to regular lenses is a breeze.
I purchased the classic model which only come in one size. The quality of the frames and the optics are incredibly good at this price point. My only complaint is that in order for me to have the mirror see behind me I do have to turn my head quite a bit, it would be better if the glasses were a little wider to push the mirror a little further out. Everything else is perfect, and these are very useful the way they are right now too.
Glasses are nice but the shipping was slow and the communication was inconsistent. I am unable to change the lense because the instructions online are vague. I am afraid that I will break the glasses trying to change the lense. A video tutorial would be nice.
